Our mini Australian Labradoodles grow to about 15 to 25 pounds. Every puppy comes from OFA and Orivet tested parents, is raised in our Anderson home with Puppy Culture, and goes home at 8 weeks old.
How big does a mini Australian Labradoodle get?
Our minis run 15 to 25 pounds as adults. The breed standard puts a mini at about 14 to 16 inches at the shoulder. Most of that growth is done by the first birthday.

Who is a mini a good fit for?
A mini fits a smaller house, an apartment, or an owner who wants a dog they can lift. It is still a real dog, not a toy. So what does that mean day to day? A mini needs a walk and some play every day, a few minutes of brushing several times a week, and a groomer every 6 to 8 weeks.
If you have very young kids or want a hiking partner, look at our medium Australian Labradoodles too. A medium is often a little easier around toddlers.
Health testing on every parent

Coat and grooming
Most of our minis have fleece coats. A fleece coat sheds very little, but loose hair stays in the coat until you brush it out, so it will mat if it is skipped. How long do mini Australian Labradoodles live?

Are minis good with kids?
Yes, with supervision. A mini is sturdy enough for family life, but small children need to learn not to pick a puppy up or crowd it. We raise every litter around our own three kids.
